Hubert Lefèbvre was a forward in rugby football, who won a gold medal with France at the 1900 Paris Olympics. Lefèbvre played for Racing Club de France from 1895-1902, winning French titles with them in 1900 and 1902. He studied at Lycée Charlemagne and earned an engineering degree from l’École Centrale. He was a captain during World War I and was cited for his service. He later worked in construction, especially with heavy military equipment.
