Biography

Alexandre Pharamond was a winger who helped France win a gold medal in rugby football at the 1900 Paris Olympics. He played for Racing Club de France from 1894-1900, winning the 1900 French title with them, and then was with Stade Français from 1900-07, losing in the French finals three times – in 1901, 1904, and 1907. Pharamond was a restaurateur, running Restaurant Pharamond in Paris. He also helped manage his family factory.
