Gyuala Paller came from the youth department of Ferencvárosi TC in Budapest. His developing career was ended by World War I, in which he lost his life. The club later launched a tournament in his memory and donated a cup in memory of Gyula Paller, which was won three times by allrounder Béla Ordódy.
