Simon Harbaugh was a member of the Glen Echo Country Club in St. Louis. He attended St. Mary’s College in Kansas and became a life insurance agent when he was 18-years-old. In 1901 he joined the printing business in St. Louis, and later became President of Greeley Printery and of St. Louis Colortype, specializing in printing, lithography, binding, and engraving.
