Orus Jones was a dentist from Toledo, Ohio who played golf at the Inverness Club in that city. He was on the third-place team at the 1904 Olympics and also qualified for match play as an individual, but lost in the first round to Nat Moore. In addition to his Olympic golf appearance he also played in the 1907 U.S. Amateur, losing in the first round.
