Albert Venne competed for the St. Louis Amateur Athletic Association at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. The team finished second and won a silver medal. Venn was an inspector of asphalt roads and granite walkways at the St. Louis Worlds Fair grounds. He originally came from Detroit, Michigan area and lived in St. Louis for only a short period, from about 1903-05. In 1902, Venn lived in, and trained a lacrosse team in Flint, Michigan.
