Biography

Domestically, Aart Brederode played his entire career for HHIJC, which later merged to HCKZ. On 30 April 1966, Brederode made his international début as goalkeeper for the Dutch team against Great Britain. In total he would represent Netherlands in 12 matches. He was also selected for the 1968 Mexico City Olympics as a substitute goalie, where he played in three matches.

In addition to his playing career, Brederode also did a lot for Dutch hockey, as he served several positions in the Dutch Hockey Federation (KNHB), for which he was named a Member of Merit by the KNHB.
