Karl Langer was an academic painter from Wien (Vienna). He was initially a member of the Secession. After World War II, he was press officer of the “Künstlerhaus” for some years. Langer was a press artist, decorative and historical painter. His known paintings include landscapes of his Austrian homeland, floral still lifes and motifs of equestrian sports. The latter included the oil painting Polo, which Langer exhibited in 1952.
