Aleksander Wrona was a Polish field hockey player. Wrona graduated from the Vocational School of Construction in Katowice in 1958. Wrona played hockey for AZS Śląska Katowice from 1955 to 1974, winning the Polish Championship in 1962 and 1972. From 1961 to 1972 Wrona played in 75 matches for the national team. Wrona was part of the Polish team that finished in 11th place at the 1972 München Olympics. In the same year Wrona was awarded with the Distinguished Master of Sports.
