Jill Reeve played college hockey (field) at Old Dominion University, leading them to four consecutive NCAA titles in 1989-92. Through 2018 she remained the all-time NCAA leader in assists with 138. Reeve joined the US National Team in 1993 and played at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She won three silver medals at the Pan American Games in 1995, 1999, and 2003. She also added bronze medals at the 1994 World Cup and the 1995 Champions Trophy. Reeve earned 134 caps during her career.
Reeve coached field hockey even while she was playing, serving as an assistant at Dartmouth (1993-95), Penn State (1996-2000), and William and Mary (2000-02). In 2004 she was named head coach at Miami of Ohio. In 2011 she moved to Brown University as the head coach. Reeve was inducted into the US Field Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.
