Brenda Stauffer was the youngest member of the US women’s hockey (field) team at the 1984 Olympics. Stauffer played collegiately at Penn State University, leading them to consecutive AIAW titles in 1981 and 1982. In 1982 she was the Mitchell and Ness Player of the Year. Stauffer received a masters’ degree in education from Immaculata University. She later married and settled in Mohnton, Pennsylvania, where she was an elementary school teacher.
