Liz Tchou played hockey (field) at the University of Iowa where she led them to three Big 10 Championships, and to three Final Fours, including an NCAA Championship in 1986. Tchou played for the US National Team from 1990-96, playing at the 1996 Olympics, and winning two medals at the Pan American Games, a bronze in 1991 and a silver in 1995.
After her playing days ended, Tchou became a coach and manager of field hockey. She was head coach at Rutgers University from 2003-11. She then joined USA Field Hockey where she worked as a manager in youth and sport development.
