From Rye, New York, “Mouse” Brewster played for the Rye Field Hockey Club in 1932. He was a Williams graduate who had played goalie for the Williams ice hockey teams and he filled the same slot for the 1932 field hockey team. Brewster also played amateur hockey for several years after college, as a goalie with the well-known St. Nicholas (Ice) Hockey Club.
