Biography
Gerrit Kruize grew up in the Netherlands but moved to the United States and became a US citizen in June 1955. He attended school in the Netherlands. In the US, Kruize played for the Westchester Field Hockey Club. At the time of the 1956 Olympics he worked as a salesman.
