Marius Gabriel competed in the sabre masters tournament at the 1900 Paris Olympics, but did not advance past the first round. He ran a fencing school at 7, rue de Passy in Paris alongside his wife, the former Adrienne Trigault, the daughter of Lyon-based fencing master Éloi Trigault.
