Achille Morin learned fencing at la Salle Jean-Louis, where he studied under the technique of Vigeant. He later came under the teaching of Aquiles Broutin, who greatly influenced him. A military officer Morin served in Romania in World War I. Morin competed in individual épée at the 1900 Olympics.
