Marc Perrodon first participated in the 1908 Olympic Games, then again 12 years later in Antwerpen and a third time in 1924 in Paris. He won the French sabre title four times (1912, 1914, 1922, 1924), and was runner-up at the 1923 World Championships. In 1928, Perrodon participated as a judge at the Amsterdam Olympics. He was also a nationally successful pistol shooter. Perrodon was a career soldier, later serving as a lieutenant-colonel in the French Cavalry.
