Thomas Scott shot for the Cincinnati Archers. He competed at both the Double American Round and Double York Round at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. Scott worked as a lawyer in Cincinnati in the later 19th century. He was 71-years-old at the 1904 Olympics, making him, through 2016, the oldest ever US Olympian, a mark unlikely to be bettered. Born in 1833, Scott was also the 3rd-born known Olympian of the modern era, and the 1st-born known US Olympian.
