Florencia Labat was an Argentine tennis player who played professionally from 1987 to 2000. Labat achieved a career-best singles ranking of 26 in the world in September 1994, and a doubles ranking of 65 in the world in July 2000.
Labat won her first ITF doubles title in November 1987 in Buenos Aires with partner Federica Haumüller. Her first WTA doubles title was at the 1991 Ilva Trophy in Italy where she teamed with Alexia Dechaume-Balleret of France. Labat’s best results were at the 1995 Pan American Games when she won gold in the singles and the team tournament. In the doubles at the 1999 Australian Open she and Belgian Dominique Van Roost reached the quarter-finals.
Labat competed in the singles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Her best performance came at the Atlanta Games where she reached the second round before losing to Maggy Maleeva of Bulgaria.
