Biography
Mustapha Batman was entered in the 110 metre hurdles at the 1948 London Olympics, but did not take part. He competed at the 1950 and 1954 European Championships in the high hurdles, but both times went out in the heats. Batman was Turkish Champion in the 110 hurdles in 1948-51, 1953-55, and 1957-58. He set Turkish records in several events, notably the 60 yards (2), 200 metres (3), 300 metres, 120 yd hurdles, and twice in the decathlon.
Personal Best: 110H – 14.9 (1952).
