Amory Hansen played all three events at the 1920 Olympics. In mixed doubles she lost the bronze medal match with Erik Tegner, also making the quarter-finals of the ladies’ doubles. Hansen won several local Danish tournaments but had no other international results. She married Folmer Hansen, a Danish aviation pioneer, doctor, and top-level tennis player. Folmer was Danish champion in singles tennis from 1889-93, 1896, and 1901. He was later a Danish consul and ambassador in Rīga, Latvia, and Stockholm.
