Harold Bloomer competed in individual foil at the 1924 Paris Olympics. He attended Columbia University, graduating in 1924, where he won the foil title at the 1924 Intercollegiate Fencing Association Championship. Bloomer’s brother, Millard, was also an Olympic fencer for the USA, in 1920. Bloomer later worked as a milkman on a dairy farm.
