Peter Frigast was the first Danish athlete to excel in both tennis and golf. He won four Danish titles in tennis, winning singles in 1911 and doubles in 1914-15 and 1917, all with Axel Thayssen. He was Danish golf champion from 1918-21. His wife and son also won national golf titles. Marie Louise Frigast was Danish and Scandinavian champion, while their son, Peter Frigast, won the Danish golf title in 1945 and 1948.
