Marcel Bimale was a Central African player and coach, starring on the court as a playmaking guard. Bimale’s playing career lasted from 1968-80, helping Central African Republic win an African Championship in 1974, and he then turned to coaching. He was national team director from 1987-88, coaching the Central Africans at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and leading them to victory at the 1987 Afrobasket in Tunis.
