Midfielder Siegfried Joksch was a member of the Austrian football team at the 1948 London Olympics. They lost their first-round match 3-0 to the eventual gold medallists Sweden. In total, Joksch won 22 international caps.
Domestically, Joksch played with SK Admira Wien (Vienna) (until 1937), FK Austria Wien (Vienna) (1937-53), FC Zürich in Switzerland (1953-55), SC Ortmann (1955-59), and Leopoldstadt Wien (Vienna) (1959). He helped Admira win the Austrian Championship in 1932, 1934, 1936, and 1937, and also Austria Wien to win it in 1949 and 1950. Joksch won the Austrian Cup with Admira in 1932 and 1934 and with Austria Wien in 1948 and 1949.
