André Fierens earned 24 caps for Belgium between 1920 and 1925 including four matches at the Olympic football tournaments in 1920 and 1924. He had his first appearance in Belgium’s First Division in 1919, the first regular season after World War I. Fiernes was four times Belgian champion (1922, 1924-26) with his club team, the Beerschot Athletic Club. In total, he played 147 matches and scored 15 goals in First Division matches. After his playing career, Fiernes worked as a coach, for Boom FC and Eendracht Aalst amongst others.
