Ludwik Oli submitted his design for the Stadium in Warsaw (Szczęśliwice) with Mieczysław Łęczycki at the 1928 Olympics. He was a graduate of the École Speciale d’Architecture in Paris. As an architect and designer, he was temporarily secretary of the Association of Architects in Łódź. One of his early projects was an educational institution for teachers. Between 1935-39 he ran an office in Łódź with Ignacy Gutman. Oli also produced a number of photo montages for the front pages of architectural magazines. In 1943 he was shot and killed in Lviv during German occupation.
