Daniel Octobre was a painter, engraver, enamel artist and ceramic artist. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Rome, and specialized in portraits and nudes. In addition, he received some decorative orders to create frescoes for public buildings.
After World War II he was actively involved in the reconstruction of the villages in the Loiret region. His father Aimé (1868-1943) was a sculptor.
