Virgilio Felice Levratto played for several teams in his career, starting with FC Vado in 1921 and helping them win the first Coppa Italia in 1922. He later played for Hellas Verona FC, Genova CFC, Ambrosiana-Inter, SS Lazio, FC Savona, and finished his career in Serie D with Cavese from 1939-42. Levratto earned 28 caps with the Azzurri, playing at both the 1924 and 1928 Olympics, where he won a bronze medal.
After his playing days ended, Levratto coached FC Savona, ACR Messina, US Lecce, and finally at ACF Fiorentina. In the 1940s the singing group Quartetto Cetra dedicated a song in his honor, “Che centrattacco,” meaning “What a striker.”
