Biography
František Týř played only doubles at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. He was paired with Otto Woffek. The duo had a bye in round one and then lost in straight sets in round two to the eventual gold medalists, Noel Turnbull and Max Woosnam of Great Britain. At the Hainz Memorial in Praha Týř lost in the final in 1924 and the semi-finals in 1923.
