Biography

Benny Wijaya was a professional tennis player who initially represented Indonesia before going on to represent Taiwan under the name Lin Bing-Chao. Wijaya achieved a career-best singles ranking of #240 in the world in October 1994, and a doubles ranking of #413 in the world in September 1990. He played in the Davis Cup from 1991 to 2000. Wijaya competed in the singles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics but lost in the first round to Andrew Sznajder. Wijaya won a silver and three bronze medals at the Asian Games and two silvers and a bronze at the Summer Universiade.
