Biography

After the end of World War II, Turkish footballer Vasıf Çetinel played domestically for Harbokulu SK. In 1952 Çetinel was selected to represent the national team in the football tournament at the Helsinki Olympics. He played in their 2–1 win against Curaçao in the first round and in their 7–1 defeat to Hungary in the quarter-finals.
