Ray Lawler played forward for Christian Brothers’ College in the 1904 Olympic soccer tournament. He worked his whole life with the St. Louis City Recorder of Deeds Office, first as a copyist and later as a department head. Lawler was a World War I veteran, serving in Europe as a private first class from May 1918 until July 1919.
