Tommy Reidy played doubles badminton at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, playing alongside Benny Lee. Reidy also won a silver medal in doubles at the 1995 Pan American Games. Reidy later settled overseas, initially in Sweden where he played professional badminton, before becoming a coach at the Swedish National Badminton Centre. In 2013, Reidy, who grew up in County Limerick, was named the high performance director of Badminton Ireland.
