Peter Pietras played for the US national team at the 1934 World Cup and the 1936 Olympics, earning three caps. His first was a match against Mexico in 1934 World Cup qualifying, while his final two were the lone US matches at the World Cup and Olympics. Pietras played for five seasons in the American Soccer League (ASL), all with the Philadelphia German-Americans, from 1933-38. He helped the German-Americans win the ASL title in 1935 and the 1936 National Challenge Cup.
