Richey Reneberg

Richey Reneberg played singles tennis for the USA at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Reneberg had played in college at Southern Methodist University (SMU), where he reached the finals of the 1986 NCAA Championship. He turned professional the next year, and played on the ATP Tour through 2000, primarily successful as a doubles player.

Reneberg and partner Jim Grabb were world ranked #1 in doubles and won the 1992 US Open title. Reneberg also won the Australian Open doubles title in 1995, partnering Jared Palmer. He and Grabb also reached the final at Wimbledon in 1992. In Masters 1000 events, Reneberg lost in the final at Indian Wells in 1998, partnering Todd Martin. He won 19 doubles titles on the ATP Tour, and reached 35 doubles finals. In singles, Reneberg reached a high ranking of #20 in the world in 1991 and won three professional titles.
