Dmitry Tomashevich was a professional tennis player from Uzbekistan who achieved a career-best singles ranking of #261 in the world in May 1996, and a doubles ranking of #547 in the world in July 2000. Tomashevich played on Uzbekistan’s Davis Cup team from 1994 to 2001.
Tomashevich, Vadim Kutsenko, and Oleg Ogorodov won the bronze medal in the team events at the 1998 and 2002 editions of the Asian Games. Tomashevich competed in the singles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics but lost in the first round to Karol Kučera. Tomashevich and Ogorodov were scheduled to play in the doubles in Atlanta but the pair did not start the event.
