Mireille Cayre was a French gymnast who competed at the 1968 and 1972 Olympic Games. She also participated at the 1966 World Championships in Dortmund. She later served gymnastics in several roles, working as a judge at the Olympics and other international competitions, and also as a sports administrator.
Cayre served as regional technical director on the Marne island from 1975-81. From 1975-78 she was commissioned in gym dance studies at the Paris Opera, and she then became a director in the Drôme-Ardèche from 1981-86. She was technical director in Auvergne from 1986-88, charged primarily with preparing juniors for the European Championships. Cayre stayed in Auvergne as a director from 1988-94, and then from 1994-2009 was technical director of the Central French Zone, before retiring at the end of 2009. In 2002, Cayre received the Gold Medal of Youth and Sports.
