Biography

Ebore Canella was an Italian gymnast who represented US Sestri Ponente. Canella was part of the Italian delegation that finished seventh in the team all-round competition at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, with her scoring the highest individual total for the Italians. One year after the Olympics she became the national artistic gymnastics champion in the individual event. Canella was only 48-years-old when she died in July 1961.
