Biography
Adelaide Meyer competed for the USA team in the team event, the only women’s gymnastics event at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, with the team finishing fifth. Meyer represented the Turnverein Vorwärts of Brooklyn. She was born in Brooklyn, and attended PS (Public School) 75 and Bushwick High School. Meyer later became a secretary for the New York Telephone Company.
