Biography

Henrik Rasmussen was a gymnast and member of the Danish team in the team event at the 1908 Olympic Games in London. His team placed fourth of eight teams. Four years later, he acted as a judge in the Swedish system event.

Rasmussen was a shop manager and later director of a match factory in Hellerup. In 1920, he married Ragnhild Margrethe Rasmussen. They had one son. At an older age, he married Edith Holmberg, who was more than 30 years his junior, and with her he had another son. He eventually died in a sauna at the age of 82.
