Péter Miklós was a gymnast of BBTE from 1924 to 1926 and later of BTC between 1927 and 1939. Between 1928 and 1938 he won 19 national championship titles (13 in individual and 6 in team competition). In 1932, at the Los Angeles Olympics, he finished 4th in the rope climbing and was a member of the Hungarian all-around team which also finished in the same position. He also participated at the 1928 and the 1936 Olympics. After completing his sports career, he worked as a coach of the Hungarian national team. His civilian profession was mechanical engineering.
