After winning the gold medal with the team at the 1920 Olympics, Fernando Bonatti continued his active career for another two years. He was later a sports teacher. Bonatti also served as an official and judge. In honor of his sporting achievements, he as awarded a Gold Medal by the Italian Olympic Committee.
