Nic Adam represented the club L’Avenir from the capital’s district of Hollerich. At the first national trials in January 1912, he placed 15th. After the final trials in June, Adam was selected as a reserve. At the Olympic Games in Stockholm, the team from Luxembourg including Adam placed fifth and last in the team event of the free system but missed bronze by less than one point in the team event of the European system. In 1913, he competed at the World Gymnastics Championships in Paris.
