Biography

Stig Lindewall was the Swedish artistic gymnastics champion in 1961, 1963, and 1964. Lindewall was part of the Swedish delegation that finished 14th in the team all-round competition at the 1960 Roma Olympics. His best individual performances in Roma came in the rings (34th) and the floor exercise (46th). Four years later Lindewall finished 18th in the parallel bars at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. In the individual all-round event he came 54th out of the 130 gymnasts who competed.
