Biography
Pam Boyd was an all-around athlete in high school, playing hockey (field), basketball, and running track at Central Regional High School in Bayville, New Jersey. She graduated in 1974 and then attended Davis and Elkins College, graduating in 1978. A goalie in handball, Boyd began playing with the US national team in 1978 and played in five consecutive National Sports Festivals. She later became a high school phys ed teacher at Pinelands Regional High School in Tuckerton, New Jersey.
