Joe “K. O.” Kaylor competed for the Deutscher Sport Club in New York. Kaylor was one of 10 children. He married Mary McWilliams in July 1947 and together they raised five children. He was the last living member of the 1936 US Olympic handball team. Kaylor boxed in the 1930s, hence the nickname “K. O.” He worked as a bricklayer.
