Biography

Vilhelm Laybourn competed in the first edition of modern pentathlon in Stockholm in 1912 but was disqualified in the fourth discipline, the riding.

He was first married to Minna Victoria Josephine Augusta Emilie Andersen and later, in 1922, married Ellen Bentzen from Norway. Laybourn ran a wine and liquor store in København (Copenhagen).
