Carl Paaske competed in the modern pentathlon at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. He achieved his best result in running, climbing from 19th place after two disciplines to 13th place overall.
Paaske served in the artillery in the 1910s but then started a career as a car dealer and importer. As director of the company he regularly visited Nash Motors in the United States. Paaske was President and later honorary member of the National Association of Car Importers. With his wife Gunvor (née Pedersen) he had one son and one daughter.
