Knud Gøtke was a member of the coxed four crew of Københavns Roklub at the 1912 Olympics. Together with Hans Jørgensen, Christian Hansen and Ejler Allert he formed an inrigger four, which was unbeaten in Denmark for some years. Later he supported the activities of the Danske Studenters Roklub. Gøtke was awarded the Danish Rowing Association’s golden badge in 1949 as a member of the Bagsværd Roklub in Gladsaxe. He ran a painter’s business in København (Copenhagen) and was married to Dina Louise Mine Brandt.
